The service

Babeename is an AI-assisted baby-naming service that suggests names informed by Sinhala, Tamil, Muslim, and other Sri Lankan naming traditions, including auspicious-letter guidance drawn from the birth details you provide. Our suggestions are creative and informational aids, not a substitute for consultation with family elders, religious authorities, or a professional astrologer, and we don't guarantee that any suggested name matches any particular astrological, religious, or cultural requirement.

One-time payment & no subscription

Access to name generation is sold as one-time packages: paying for a package grants you a fixed number of generation attempts (each attempt returns a set of names), added to your account once payment is confirmed. There is no recurring subscription and no auto-renewal — you only pay again if you choose to buy another package. Purchased attempts don't expire, but are non-transferable to another account. If a generation attempt fails to return any names because of an error on our side, that attempt is automatically restored to your balance.

Acceptable use

You may use Babeename only for lawful, personal purposes connected with naming a child or exploring names. You agree not to: use the service to harass, impersonate, or defraud anyone; attempt to circumvent phone verification or the payment system; scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell access to the service; or use automated tools to generate names in bulk outside the normal product flow. The names Babeename suggests are yours to use freely for your child; the underlying software, prompts, and branding remain our property.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is." We take care to make culturally respectful and accurate suggestions, but we don't warrant that any name, meaning, or auspicious-letter guidance is complete, error-free, or suitable for your specific family, religious, or legal requirements — you're responsible for verifying any name, including its legal registrability, before use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
